One of the shrubs in our garden looked fairly boring until . . . we noticed lots of purple flowers on it, have no idea what it is.

The grevilleas all look very happy at the moment and have lots of flowers and buds on them.

The hibiscus are also very showy now too.


The "Coconut Ice" Grevillea has more flowers than all of the others but we have not seen any birds on it, maybe it is too close to the house for the birds to feel comfortable.


Plovers have built a nest right in the middle of the path we take to the waterfront. This morning one of them attacked R as we walked past so we will be walking on the other side of the reserve from now on. The Wattle trees are in bloom and are so pretty, I will try to get a photo soon.
