The Noisy Friarbirds just lurv the bottlebrush and think they own it!

The common brown honeyeaters dart in whenever they get the chance.


Plenty of bees around now as well as some other insects.

More bottlebrush

The birds and insects were busy again on the bottlebrush today.

Vege Garden

We went to Bunnings today to buy some Azalea fertiliser and came out with vege seedlings and seeds and fertiliser for a vege garden. R dug up the garden yesterday so was enthusiastic about planting some seedlings and seeds today.


We noticed that there are some flowers on the passionfruit vine so have fertilised it as well.

Bathroom

I forgot to upload photos of finished bathroom.

Birds n Bees

We have a red bottlebrush in flower now and the birds think it is great! Unfortunately the birds move around too quickly for me to get a decent photo. I had a closer look at it this afternoon and there were heaps of bees on the brushes, I did not have much luck with getting a sharp photo of them either but I did get a fly and butterfly.

Whale watching - Hervey Bay

We went to Hervey last Wednesday and did a Whale Watching cruise on Thursday, the weather was perfect, we could not have paid for a better day, the sea was like a mirror and there were some whales around.

Almost finished bathroom

The bathroom renovations are almost finished, just the mirror to be installed, it's ready and should be installed this week.
