So I went out and picked some lilly pilly fruit this afternoon
and left it simmering on the stove.
Unfortunately I forgot about the fruit simmering and it was not until I could smell burning that I remembered :-(
OH well I will try again tomorrow.

Lilly Pilly
I could see red fruit on the lilly pillys over the back fence, having heard of Lilly Pilly Jam but never having tasted it I went searching for a recipe, there are a few on the internet but I also found one in a book I have. Anyway I found a good blog http://thrumykitchenwindow.blogspot.com/2009/05/lilly-pilly-jelly.html which has instructions and photos showing how to make it.
So I went out and picked some lilly pilly fruit this afternoon
